Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Support Administrator is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees while also maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and backend systems. In this role, you will be the frontline champion for resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining the health of our IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both troubleshooting user issues and managing systems behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for end users (hardware, software, printers, and network issues)
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory, email, etc.)
- Maintain and support servers (Windows/Linux) and network infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, backups, and security updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and connectivity issues
- Support company applications, file systems, and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365)
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with company policies
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Coordinate with vendors and external IT providers as needed
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support or system administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking
- Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and permissions
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with server maintenance, backups, and system updates
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge and best practices
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft certifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience supporting CMMC or DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements is highly preferred
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in CMMC, NIST 800-171, or DoD compliance environments
