OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
- Pay: $60,000/year
- Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
- Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Location: Operations Center and in the field, Downtown Lancaster
- Start Date: ASAP

You'll lead the Streetplus team in Downtown Lancaster, splitting your time between office-based administration and regular field work. In the office, you'll handle scheduling, reporting, service requests, and client communication. In the field, you'll conduct quality assurance walks, check in with your team, and build relationships with business owners and stakeholders throughout the district. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee daily operations across cleaning, safety, hospitality, and outreach services to ensure client expectations are consistently met
- Manage staff scheduling, zone assignments, and shift coverage to ensure consistent service delivery
- Monitor and respond to the district email inbox and phone line, managing service requests from clients and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, supplies, and inventory assigned to the account
- Collaborate with Streetplus corporate staff to develop and implement new strategies and program components
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and provide direction to staff accordingly
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead, guide, and support Supervisors and Social Service Outreach Specialists in the day-to-day execution of operational tasks
- Conduct regular field walks to observe Ambassador and Supervisor performance and provide real-time coaching and feedback
- Manage employee performance, including coaching, mentoring, documentation, and handling disciplinary actions in accordance with Streetplus policies
- Ensure all employees are in compliance with operational and administrative policies and procedures
- Work with the Streetplus National Ambassador Academy to recruit staff and maintain hiring standards
Community & Agency Relations
- Maintain regular contact with business owners, property managers, and district stakeholders to build goodwill and stay ahead of emerging needs
- Serve as the primary liaison between Streetplus and client representatives, ensuring service objectives are met in accordance with program agreements
- Build and sustain relationships with local municipal agencies to promote the program as a valuable community resource
- Foster partnerships with organizations that support unhoused individuals and others in need
- Represent Streetplus professionally in all client, community, and agency interactions

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in maintenance, facilities, customer service, security, or law enforcement
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team in a dynamic, outdoor environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile devices
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment
Preferred (not required)
- Familiarity with business improvement districts, municipal services, or urban community programs
- Experience with social service outreach or unhoused population engagement
- Supervising: 4 years
- Customer Service: 3 years
- Maintenance: 2 years
