Are you a proven leader with a passion for operational excellence and servant leadership? We are seeking a Plant Operations Director to lead production operations in a large, complex manufacturing facility. This role oversees multiple operations across several buildings and drives performance in safety, quality, efficiency, and service.

What You’ll Do

• Direct and optimize production operations to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, and service.
• Develop and implement improved processes with a focus on safety, quality, and cost.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5 Whys, Kaizen and fishbone diagrams.
• Monitor KPIs, anticipate trends, and adjust plans to meet targets.
• Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate improvement planning sessions and ensure measurable outcomes.
• Promote a culture of safety and GMP compliance through servant leadership in a continuous operations facility.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Servant leader with experience managing 500 employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong decision-making skills grounded in data analysis and financial acumen.
• Operational Excellence experience and familiarity with root cause analysis tools.
• SAP experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lead multi-shift or continuous operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience managing department managers across functional areas.
• Knowledge of planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in plastics processing or packaging industries.
