About the Role
We are seeking an Audio Video Technician to commission, configure, and validate AV systems. This role focuses on ensuring systems are fully functional, optimized, and client-ready across a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead AV system commissioning and startup
· Configure DSP systems (Biamp, Extron, Q-SYS)
· Install and support AV and control systems
· Commission Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
· Configure AV-over-IP systems (Dante, AES67)
· Set up video distribution and displays
· Troubleshoot and optimize system performance
· Maintain documentation and as-built drawings
· Collaborate with project teams
· Follow quality control processes to ensure standards
Requirements
· All experience levels welcome (training provided)
· Experience commissioning AV systems in various environments
· Strong understanding of low-voltage systems
· Experience with DSP, conferencing, and control systems
· Ability to troubleshoot complex AV systems
· Strong time management and organization skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently and with teams
· Understanding of wiring practices and codes
· Ability to read plans and diagrams
· Valid driver’s license
· Be able to lift 50 lbs and climb a ladder
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work independently and on-site
· Willingness to learn on the job
· CTS, Control4, Biamp, Extron, Q-SYS certifications
· CompTIA Network or similar
