Key Position Functions Include
- Perform MPI and LPI on raw, semi-finished, and finished products per company procedures and/or industry specifications (ASNT, ASTM, API, ASME)
- Conduct internal NDT audits to improve the effectiveness of inspection techniques and
- Perform welding inspection on welded parts as per specifications.
- Perform other QC inspection activities as required, such as visual, dimensional, and material hardness testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NDT requirements and foster a quality-focused culture.
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations and policies.
- Valid current ASNT Level II or equivalent (CGSB) certification for Magnetic Particle
- Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).
- AWS welding inspector certification is advantageous.
- Ultrasonic Inspection Certification is advantageous, but not required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
- API Q1/API Q2 experience in a manufacturing facility and/or service facility with inspection techniques, applications, and reporting, and product knowledge of quality control.
- The requirements of API 6A will be an asset.
- Strong written & verbal communication.
- The ability to prepare and issue an NDT report on time is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications
