NDE Technician

Key Position Functions Include

• Perform MPI and LPI on raw, semi-finished, and finished products per company procedures and/or industry specifications (ASNT, ASTM, API, ASME)
• Conduct internal NDT audits to improve the effectiveness of inspection techniques and
• Perform welding inspection on welded parts as per specifications.
• Perform other QC inspection activities as required, such as visual, dimensional, and material hardness testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NDT requirements and foster a quality-focused culture.
• Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations and policies.
  
  

Preferred Candidates Will Possess a Combination Of The Following

• Valid current ASNT Level II or equivalent (CGSB) certification for Magnetic Particle
• Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).
• AWS welding inspector certification is advantageous.
• Ultrasonic Inspection Certification is advantageous, but not required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
• API Q1/API Q2 experience in a manufacturing facility and/or service facility with inspection techniques, applications, and reporting, and product knowledge of quality control.
• The requirements of API 6A will be an asset.
• Strong written & verbal communication.
• The ability to prepare and issue an NDT report on time is essential.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Fluent in Microsoft Office applications
