Primary Essential Functions
- Lead the development of engineering designs for complex components of projects, including preparing detailed technical drawings and calculations.
- Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and simulations to verify that designs meet client, code, and regulatory requirements.
- Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to create detailed models, schematics, and construction documents that align with project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the seamless integration of building systems.
- Conduct research on materials, technologies, and applicable regulations to ensure that designs are compliant with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in project management activities, including scheduling, task coordination, and managing deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
- Attend client and team meetings to present design concepts, provide technical updates, and address project concerns.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues on-site, and ensure that design intent is being followed during execution.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in design software and engineering modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
- Advanced technical drafting and detailing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing design challenges.
- Communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Time management and organizational skills for balancing multiple project responsibilities.

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-Accredited university.
- 3-4 years of experience in engineering design and project delivery.
- Experience with complex or large-scale engineering projects.
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certification.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
- Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, telephones, and printers.
- Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to25lbs.).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and through written communication.
