Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team in a full-time, fully remote capacity (Monday through Friday). This role is heavily focused on the financial side of the business and is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and takes ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage all billing and invoicing with accuracy and on time

• Oversee accounts receivable — track outstanding balances, follow up on collections, and apply payments

• Manage accounts payable — review and process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records across all accounts

• Perform regular account reconciliations and assist with month-end close

• Generate financial reports and flag discrepancies for management review

• Serve as the point of contact for billing inquiries from clients and vendors

Qualifications

• Proven experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

• Strong proficiency in financial recordkeeping, account reconciliation, and general bookkeeping

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standard financial practices

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable platforms

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities

• Professional written and verbal communication skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Experience in the environmental services, construction, or infrastructure industries is a plus
