Supply Chain Engineer | Defense Tech Scale-Up
Location: Los Angeles, On Site
Compensation: $130,000 – $170,000 Pre-IPO Equity
The Opportunity

The Role
You will act as the technical bridge between Engineering and Sourcing, ensuring our supply chain is as resilient as our technology.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify single-point-of-failure risks and execute dual-sourcing or redesign strategies.
- Technical Sourcing: Interpret complex schematics to qualify alternate components (PCBAs, RF, COTS) without compromising form, fit, or function.
- Supplier Qualification: Assess supplier production readiness and technical capabilities to meet rigorous design tolerances.
- Strategic Input: Drive "Make vs. Buy" decisions and provide DFM/DFA input during early-stage design reviews.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or RF Engineering.
- Experience: 5 years in supply chain/manufacturing engineering or technical sourcing.
- Technical Depth: Proficiency in reading drawings/schematics across diverse hardware domains (Mechanical, Electrical, and RF).
- Industry Context: Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics is highly preferred.
