Avionics/Electrical Technicians x 6 (Senior, Mid-Level & Junior)
Contract Length: 12 months with extension/permanent conversion very likely
Contract type: 1099 & W2 Contracts Available
Full-time contract – 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Hourly Pay rate: Open & Flexible – This is very urgent, priority is finding the right people

In this role you will be working for an industry leading eVTOL Aerospace vendor who have successfully tested a full-scale vehicle and expect to be successfully flying commercially by the start of 2028.
These roles are essential for the expansion of a brand-new building in San Jose. We're looking for individuals who are teachable, team-oriented, and ready to contribute to a high-integrity aerospace environment.
What You'll Do
- Build and Test: You'll help build, maintain, and inspect aircraft subsystem integration test labs. This involves reading wiring diagrams and schematics and assisting in troubleshooting integration issues.
- Repair and Replacement: You will repair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a lab environment. You must have the ability to replace various subsystem components.
- Wiring and Harnesses: Hands-on experience is crucial for cutting, splicing, and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harnesses. You will also fabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for testing and debugging purposes.
- Documentation and Quality: You'll maintain lab documentation for modifications, repairs, and upgrades. A key responsibility is to inspect the work of other technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications. You must follow proper working techniques for cleanliness, reliability, and quality.
- Mentorship: Senior technicians will be expected to set an example for a high standard of technical work for other team members.
Project & Team
- Project Focus: You will be working on flight controls and systems, including flight control actuators and fly-by-wire avionics. The project involves building and troubleshooting test setups and flight deck avionics. You will not be working on battery packs or doing general aircraft/vehicle work.
Required Experience & Skills
- Relevant Experience: 3 months – 2 Years (Junior) 2 – 5 Years (mid-level) 5 years Senior of experience as an electrical technician in an aviation, aerospace, or similar industry is required.
- Technical Skills: You need to have relevant practical experience and technical skills in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting. A strong focus is on avionics, wire harnesses, line maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work are essential.
- Safety Mindset: A safety-conscious mindset is a must for the well-being of all working in the labs.
- Core Skills: Must be teachable and have strong troubleshooting skills. You need hands-on experience with wire stripping, using a DMC Crimper, and knowledge of wiring harnesses.
Bonus Qualifications
- A&P License
- Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setups.
