Straticon is seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support in-house counsel and leadership across contracts, risk management, and corporate matters. This role is execution-focused. You will be expected to operate with precision, maintain strict confidentiality, and take ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and manage contracts including subcontracts, NDAs, leases, and vendor agreements
• Track contract status, key terms, deadlines, and compliance requirements
• Support insurance and risk management processes, including COI review and policy tracking
• Assist with corporate governance documents, operating agreements, and internal policies
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage legal correspondence
• Maintain organized legal files and document control systems
• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings clearly and concisely
• Support dispute resolution, claims, and litigation tracking as needed
• Ensure internal teams are using current, approved contract forms and templates
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience (construction or corporate preferred)
• Ability to identify issues and inconsistencies, not just format documents
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Discretion handling sensitive and confidential information is non-negotiable
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with contract management systems is a plus
