Job Title: SENIOR SUPPORT ENGINEERLabor Category: Programmer IIILocation: 100% RemoteJob Type: ContractWork schedule: Monday- Friday 9 AM to 5 PM (35 hour a week)Duration: 12 MonthsPay Rate: $70 - $80 per hourJob Description Justification:In this role, you will:Collaborate with the Senior Tech Lead and development team to provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during development, testing, and deployment. Assist with the configuration and integration of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions. Document technical processes and procedures. Maintain a deep understanding of the project scope and goals to proactively identify potential roadblocks. Provide ongoing technical support to the development team and stakeholders.SCOPE OF SERVICESTASKS:Ensure successful technology delivery and reliability of citywide MWBE Business Diversity Software solution.Collaborate with the Senior Tech Lead and development team to provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.Analyze and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during development, testing, and deployment.Assist with the configuration and integration of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions.Document technical processes and procedures.Maintain a deep understanding of the project scope and goals to proactively identify potential roadblocks.Provide ongoing technical support to the development team and stakeholders.Design and implement a comprehensive solution leveraging both custom development and COTS solutions as appropriate.Be hands-on as needed writing code, configuring COTS solutions, creating architecture diagrams, building automation pipelines, building integrations, submitting technical requests such as build of materials, firewall rule changes, security changes, etc.Ensure adherence to legal, technological, and operational standards throughout the project.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure system stability.Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (business and technical) to define project goals, scope, and potential risks.Work closely with OTI's Cyber Command unit to ensure security compliance throughout the development lifecycle.MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered• Technical Expertise:Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, technical architecture, and technical leadership.Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions (Dynamics, Salesforce, ServiceNow, B2G NOW)Hands-on experience using at least one major programming language (Java, Python, C#, C , JavaScript, Go)Strong understanding of Cloud-based architecture, with hands-on experience using Azure, or AWSDemonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred).Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.• DevOpsStrong understanding and hands-on experience using DevOps toolsets (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, JIRA).Demonstrated experience build automated build pipelines.• Communication and Collaboration:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills.• Project Management and Organization:Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:• Business Acumen:Demonstrated experience in analyzing and interpreting policies and procedures.Ability to work with cross-functional teams (architects, developers, engineers, domain experts) to document non-functional requirements.Solid attention to detail.Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.• Business Diversity Software:Knowledge of B2GNOW software or like solution.
