POSITION OVERVIEW:
STi is seeking a Supply and Service Support Representative (SSSR) to support the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood, Maryland. This role supports the Command’s Nuclear Infrastructure Exploitation (NIX) Teams and the Surgeon Cell Radiation Safety Office (RSO) through on-site logistics, sustainment, and property accountability support for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment, Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), and associated consumables.
This is the required key personnel role for the effort. The selected individual will provide hands-on logistics support using GCSS-Army (GCSS-A) and a supplemental Logistics Information System (LIS) to manage property accountability, supply actions, inventory control, maintenance/calibration coordination, readiness reporting, and pre-/post-deployment support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll provide on-site logistics and sustainment support to help maintain accountability, readiness, and supportability for NIX Team and Surgeon Cell RSO equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Use GCSS-Army (GCSS-A) as the primary logistics system of record for Government property, inventory control, maintenance tracking, supply transactions, and related logistics functions.
- Maintain and update a supplemental Logistics Information System (LIS) to capture required data not otherwise tracked in GCSS-A, including equipment inventories, serial numbers, warranty data, maintenance/calibration status, obsolete items, stockage objectives, reorder points, and consumables information.
- Support property accountability and asset visibility by maintaining accurate equipment records, status, and location data.
- Track maintenance, repair, calibration, and preventive service requirements for NIX Team and Surgeon Cell RSO equipment in accordance with OEM guidance and TB 43-180 for TMDE.
- Maintain records for instruments and ancillary equipment, including service history, calibration history, work order status, and maintenance-related documentation.
- Track lot numbers and shelf-life expiration dates for consumables to support resupply and readiness.
- Coordinate supply and service support actions for COTS, GOTS, and Government-owned scientific equipment, with required transactions entered in GCSS-A.
- Coordinate with OEMs, TMDE providers, and vendors for maintenance, repair, and calibration support, including arranging pickup and delivery of equipment across APG or other designated Government locations.
- Support pre- and post-deployment equipment assessments and document damaged, obsolete, replacement, and repair requirements in the LIS and recurring reports.
- Assist with preparation of recurring asset visibility and readiness status updates using GCSS-A and LIS data.
- Identify and report discrepancies between GCSS-A and LIS records in accordance with task order requirements.
- Support startup activities such as access setup, initial inventories, and baseline logistics/maintenance alignment during transition and early performance.
- Provide logistics-related input to meeting minutes, monthly reporting, and other contract support documentation as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance required for this program.
- High School diploma or GED
- 7 years of integrated logistics support experience
- Military logistics training preferred
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with GCSS-Army (GCSS-A)
- Experience in property accountability, inventory control, asset tracking, and logistics records management
- Experience coordinating maintenance, calibration, repair, or sustainment actions for equipment or controlled assets
- Ability to maintain organized logistics documentation and readiness-related data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on-site in a DoD mission-support environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Army or DoD logistics support experience in operational, readiness, maintenance, or sustainment environments
- Experience supporting TMDE, calibration programs, or OEM-based equipment maintenance coordination
- Familiarity with supplemental logistics tracking tools such as Microsoft Access, SharePoint, or similar LIS-style systems
- Experience supporting property book, supply, or readiness reporting functions
- Experience supporting deployment preparation, reset, or operational equipment assessments
- Experience supporting CBRNE, radiological, laboratory, EOD, or other specialized equipment environments
