Job Overview:
We are seeking a Desktop support technician to provide technical support to internal business users. This role is responsible for assisting employees with hardware, software, and system-related troubleshooting while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for desktop, laptop, and application troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and operating system troubleshooting in a Windows environment
- Perform password resets and user account administration in Active Directory
- Support Microsoft Office and email applications
- Escalate unresolved or complex troubleshooting to higher-level support teams
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of customer service or IT support experience
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory user account administration
- Experience working with ticketing or service desk systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL processes
- CompTIA A or related technical certification
