Position Responsibilities
- Lead and support operational planning teams (OPTs), working groups, and boards to develop OIE plans, annexes, and appendices aligned with campaign objectives
- Translate strategic guidance into executable operational and tactical IO plans
- Integrate information-related capabilities (IRCs) across lines of effort to achieve desired effects in the information environment
- Coordinate with CCMD staff, components, and JIIM partners to synchronize messaging, influence activities, and operational actions
- Conduct mission analysis, problem framing, and course of action development for IO and irregular warfare efforts
- Develop, track, and assess Measures of Performance (MOP) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) to evaluate campaign impact
- Produce and maintain planning products including orders, concepts, and supporting documentation
- Support crisis action planning and contingency operations as required
- Incorporate cultural, regional, and adversary information considerations into planning efforts
- Leverage data, intelligence, and analytic tools to inform decision-making and operational design
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in Information Operations, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), or Operations in the Information Environment (OIE)
- Experience supporting Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Staff, or Service component planning processes
- Strong understanding of Joint Planning Process (JPP) and military decision-making frameworks
- Experience integrating interagency and multinational partners into operational planning
- Ability to develop clear, concise, and actionable planning products for senior leaders
- Active Top Secret clearance with current SCI access required at time of hire
- Experience directly supporting USSOCOM or Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions
- Familiarity with cyber, electromagnetic spectrum, and influence operations integration
- Regional or cultural expertise relevant to priority operational areas
- Experience with assessment frameworks and data-driven planning
- Graduate of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) Psychological Operations Qualification Course (MOS 37A - Psychological Operations Officer or MOS 37F - Psychological Operations Specialist), or Service equivalent PSYOP or IO course
