Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Trial Preparation: Conduct legal research and case assessments; draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents; organize case files, exhibits, and evidence; assist with discovery requests; coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts.
- Trial Support: Prepare trial binders and exhibits for courtroom presentation; assist during voir dire and jury selection; manage trial logistics and coordinate with court personnel; handle exhibits and manage transcripts.
- Post-Trial Activities: Support attorneys with post-trial motions and appeals; archive case files and trial materials; communicate with clients on outcomes and next steps
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a paralegal with a strong background in trial involvement.
- Experience with conducting legal research and adept at using legal databases.
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
- Strong communicator, both in writing and verbally, with proven ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms, and experience with legal software.
