About the Role

As a Food Service Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily meal service for K–12 students at public schools across Brea-Olinda Unified School District. You’ll assist with food preparation, service, and facility upkeep while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized cafeteria environment. This position requires strong customer service skills, flexibility, and teamwork to adapt to the needs of each school site.

What You’ll Do

• Work as a team to prepare, set up, and serve meals to students and staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately

What We’re Looking For

• Food service or food industry experience (Cooking/Food Prep)
• Patient, reliable, and great with people (experience with children a plus)
• Driver’s license reliable transportation (within 15 miles of Mission Viejo and San Clemente)
• Able to pass fingerprinting (we cover the cost)
• Bilingual a plus

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 4-6 hours per day (9:15 AM - 1:00 PM OR 10:15 AM - 2:00 PM).

*Actual work times vary depending on the needs of the school site.
