A top-tier national law firm with offices in major business and legal markets is seeking a Trademark & Intellectual Property Paralegal to join its Minneapolis office. The firm represents a diverse client base across a range of industries, offering strategic counsel in intellectual property, corporate law, and complex litigation.

$90,000 – $105,000 base salary plus 401k and benefits

Position Overview
The Trademark & IP Paralegal will be an integral part of the firm’s Intellectual Property team, supporting attorneys with the management of domestic and international trademark portfolios. This professional will coordinate filings, manage deadlines, and assist with IP enforcement and litigation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark applications, renewals, and related documents.

• Maintain and monitor IP portfolios, including docketing deadlines and status updates.

• Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches and prepare summary reports.

• Assist attorneys with trademark disputes, oppositions, and enforcement matters.

• Liaise with foreign counsel on global trademark prosecution and maintenance.

• Support IP litigation efforts, including document review, discovery preparation, and exhibit management.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of trademark and intellectual property paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

• Proficient with IP docketing software (e.g., Foundation IP, CPI) and USPTO/TM systems.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.

   

   

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
