Field Operations Director

About the Company

A high-growth, multi-state home services organization is seeking a Field Operations Director to oversee field operations for a large crew of Location Managers and Technicians, critical teams that contribute to $100M in annual revenue.

Role Overview

The Field Operations Director will oversee all installation efforts across teams in 6 mains locations, including in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. This is a hands-on leadership role, and the right candidate must bring experience managing managers in a similar setting. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the installation teams across multiple locations
• Directly manage a team of Location Managers who lead large crews of HVAC technicians — handling scheduling, performance, and accountability
• Ensure warehouses are organized, stocked, and operating efficiently with proper inventory controls
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Location Managers and their technician teams
• Partner with ownership and senior leadership to align operations with company growth goals
• Enforce safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures across the team
• Track team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed

Required Background

• Proven strong leadership experience overseeing field managers or multiple teams in a trades, warehouse, or field operations environment
• Strong people management skills — able to lead, motivate, and hold accountable, deliver and execute on Sops and performance management across a high-volume technician workforce, and growing
• Hands-on, visible leadership style with a strong floor presence
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• HVAC industry experience preferred but not required — operations or trades background strongly valued
• Clear, direct communicator who builds trust with both leadership and frontline staff
• Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
