Director / VP of Sales (Infrastructure / Distribution Channel)
A leading U.S.-based manufacturer in the commercial infrastructure products space is hiring a Director/VP of Sales to lead regional strategy and field execution across a multi-state territory.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can build structure, coach a large field team, and drive measurable revenue growth through a distribution/channel model. Industry background in waterworks/underground utilities is a plus — but strong sales leaders from adjacent infrastructure or building materials verticals are encouraged to apply.
Title: Director / VP of Sales (title flexible based on experience)
Location: Onsite near LAX (4 days/week)
Comp: $200K–$300K base DOE 20–30% incentive benefits
What You’ll Own
- Lead and scale a regional sales organization (multi-state) with managers and a large team of AEs/AMs
- Build cadence and structure: hiring, coaching, performance management, forecasting, and territory planning
- Drive revenue growth through distributor/channel partners and key accounts
- Partner cross-functionally on pricing strategy, programs, and customer planning
- Establish high standards for execution, accountability, and customer relationships
- Represent the organization with top distributors, contractors, and strategic partners
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)
- 8 years B2B sales experience in infrastructure, industrial, building materials, construction products, or adjacent
- 3 years leading a sales team with 10 sellers and/or multiple layers (managers reps)
- Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and hold teams accountable (including difficult decisions when needed)
- Track record of quota ownership and measurable results (growth %, margin/GP improvements, % to plan)
- Experience selling through distribution/channel partners (not purely direct-to-consumer or inside sales)
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
- Waterworks / underground utilities / municipal / public works exposure
- Experience supporting bids/RFPs/spec influence
- Existing relationships with major infrastructure distribution partners
