Are you detail-driven, analytical, and passionate about keeping complex projects on track? We're looking for a Project Control Analyst to play a critical role in planning, tracking, and reporting project performance across programs of varying size and complexity.
As a key member of the program team, you'll work closely with the Director of Project Controls, project and program managers, and cross-functional teams to support informed decision-making and drive project success.
This is a full time, on-site position located in Huntsville, AL.
What You'll Do
- Set up and manage projects, budgets, schedules, and risks using Deltek Costpoint and Cobra
- Develop and maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) and prepare clear, accurate Project Status Reports
- Support resource forecasting and performance analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and status deliverables
- Track, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate with Contract and Project Managers on contract modifications
- Reconcile labor, material, and travel costs in support of invoicing
- Audit and validate timesheet entries across multiple projects
- Support project lifecycle processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cobra
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Proven ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of directly related experience or Associate's degree with 6 years of directly related experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of project management tools, processes, and best practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams
