We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support our electrical assembly, testing, and repair operations in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role works across production and repair & return (R&R) activities and offers the opportunity to grow from foundational assembly tasks into advanced component-level diagnostics and repair.
This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, AL.
What You'll Do
- Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies
- Perform IPC-compliant soldering and rework on PCBs and wiring harnesses
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment
- Interpret schematics, work instructions, and engineering documentation
- Document repairs and test results in ERP/MES systems
- Support quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
- Work in an ESD-controlled environment following strict safety and quality standards
- Maintain clean, organized work areas consistent with 5S and lean practices
- Escalate issues to senior technicians or supervisors when encountering unfamiliar defects or failures
What We're Looking For
- 0-4 years of electronics assembly or repair experience
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to read schematics and follow controlled processes
- Basic soldering proficiency; IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred
- Basic understanding of ESD controls and safe handling practices
- Active SECRET security clearance
- Ability to lift 25-40 lbs. as required
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
