What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Auditor position at Strata Clean Energy?
In this role, you will travel to various job sites across the Southeastern United States to assess landscaping conditions, document findings, and recommend actions to ensure compliance with our contractual obligations and quality standards. The primary focus is the weekly & monthly inspections and ensuring vegetation standards are met. There will also be escorted visits with our customer(s) and VIPs as necessary

- Site Inspections: Drive to various landscaping job sites in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, and Tennessee to conduct thorough audits of grounds and landscaping.
- Photography: Take high-quality photos of landscaping conditions, focusing on grass length, plant health, and overall site appearance.
- Assessment: Evaluate the current state of lawns, gardens, and grounds, determining necessary actions such as lawn mowing, weed eating, trimming hedges, and other maintenance tasks.
- Compliance Reporting: Document findings and prepare reports outlining the condition of each site, including specific recommendations for improvement to meet compliance standards.
- Communication: Collaborate with landscaping teams to discuss necessary actions and ensure timely execution of recommended maintenance tasks.
- Record Keeping: Maintain an organized database of site inspections, including photographs and reports, to track compliance over time.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Clear understanding of safe workplace practices and procedures
- Ability to receive and distribute direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
- Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends.
- Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with subordinates, peers, supervisor, and all other individuals both within and outside of the organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in horticulture, landscape management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to assess landscaping conditions accurately.
- Excellent photography skills, with the ability to capture clear and informative images.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Work is to be performed in the field and occasionally in the field office.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
- Must have the ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk short distances for 8-10 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
