Position Overview
Fore Dental Care is seeking a highly organized and personable New Patient (NP) Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for new patients entering the practice. This role is critical in creating a strong first impression, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, and supporting practice growth through effective scheduling, communication, and case acceptance coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all incoming new patient inquiries via phone, text, and online channels
Schedule and confirm new patient appointments while optimizing provider schedules
Guide new patients through the onboarding process, including forms, insurance verification, and expectations
Verify insurance eligibility and communicate benefits clearly to patients
Coordinate with clinical and front office teams to ensure a smooth patient experience from first contact through treatment
Track and follow up on unscheduled treatment and pending new patient appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the practice management system
Deliver exceptional customer service and build rapport to increase case acceptance and retention
Qualifications
Previous dental or healthcare front office experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling is a plus
Proficiency with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix or similar) preferred
Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
