Strafford Learning Center is seeking a Program Director to oversee the John Powers and John Powers Primary Schools. These alternative learning environments are for students grades K-3 and 3-8, who have found solace in this small, predictable, therapeutic setting. Join this team of passionate professionals who put students’ needs first. Manage referrals to the program, interact with district directors or OOD coordinators, oversee the implementation of IEPs, supervise staff, participate in hiring, and build relationships with families and students. Support from other Program Directors and the Executive Director built into expectations. The ideal candidate would have some administrative experience or coursework. Certification as principal or special education administrator, or a Statement of Eligibility, a plus.
