A1 Excavating is a Wisconsin based Underground Utility Contractor specializing in Excavating, Site Clearing and Underground Utilities. With over 40 years of experience in the WI, MN region, A1 is a top competitor for all water main, sanitary and storm Sewer work in the region. Stout Excavating Group (SEG) operates in the high growth aggregate mining industry primarily focused on mining and civil construction in multiple states across the United States. The A-1 Companies maintain offices in both Bloomer, WI and Converse, TX.

Stout Excavating Group (SEG) is expanding and currently has an opening for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic-field technician. If you have experience, shown stability with past employers, and a strong industry background. Applicants must be willing to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and have references available. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Positions available immediately.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Strive to represent Stout Excavating Group, LLC with integrity.
• Actively support Stout Excavating Group’s commitment to safety.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and perform needed PMs and repairs to heavy equipment at various job sites.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Communicate at all levels of the organization to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Work closely with Fleet manager to ensure all open work orders are timely executed.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3-5 years prior mechanical experience on heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and execute work orders.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
• Thoroughness and reliability
• Must live in West Tx
