Data Cloud Solution Architect

Job Description

We are hiring a Data Cloud Solution Architect for one of our Consulting clients - working with a Financial Services customer

The Solution architect is responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application as well as recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs and will be hands-on throughout client engagements.

This is a fully remote (US based) contract to start ASAP, 20 hours/week for at least 4 months with likely extension

The role will be paid at an hourly rate of $80-90/h w2 or $95-110/h c2c/llc

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitates discovery workshops, gather customer requirements, understand customer marketing needs, elicit user stories
• Assess client current architecture and architect solutions that meet client needs
• Create solution design and articulate design to client and team; articulate value and gain buy-off; ensure user story definition clarity and perform quality reviews
• Iteratively develop Marketing Cloud project components throughout engagements and provide guidance including best practice recommendations; elicit feedback and adjust designs to meet needs
• Articulate the solutions to client and internal teams (simple to complex in nature), ensuring buy-in
• Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure standards are met or exceeded
• Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testing
• Recommends alternate approaches, analyze impacts, and provide sizing estimates
• Participates in design and code reviews
• Analyzes and mitigates bugs and issues
• Writes technical specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) jointly with the technical team members
• Documents build plans and delegates work to team members
• Coordination with project leadership, including Project Manager, to articulate status, blockers, updates to all project related work
• Creation of testing plans and support of documentation and testing execution
• Required Qualifications
• At least 4 years of Marketing Cloud experience in a consulting role with extensive client facing and project team interaction
• Experience implementing Data Cloud E2E in at least 1 project
• Ability to offer full service support of Client’s throughout the lifecycle, including advisory services to integrate Marketing strategy into Client Salesforce ecosystems
• Working knowledge of the entire SFMC platform
• Working knowledge with some ability on SFMC languages: Ampscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML
