As a Member of Technical Staff - Machine Learning, you’ll work alongside a highly technical founding team tackling cutting-edge challenges in reinforcement learning, simulation, and large-scale infrastructure. You’ll move fast, think deeply about AI systems, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the field to deliver production-grade research and engineering solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Design and build realistic RL environments and simulation systems that model complex, real-world behavior.
- Develop scalable infrastructure to support large-scale AI training and evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to turn new ideas into production-ready systems.
- Leverage and delegate effectively to fleets of coding agents to accelerate development cycles.
- Operate in a fast-paced, deeply technical environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.
- Strong technical background in AI research, reinforcement learning, infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems.
- High agency and ability to work autonomously on complex technical challenges.
- Deep curiosity and appreciation for AI research and its practical applications.
- Experience working in fast-moving, startup-style environments.
- Location: On-site in San Francisco (preferred) or New York City
