Sales Engineer – Industrial Equipment (High-Growth Opportunity)
We’re seeking a driven, technically savvy Sales Engineer to join a rapidly growing organization at the forefront of advanced industrial mixing technology. This is a high-impact role supporting a cutting-edge product line that significantly reduces processing time, lowers operational costs, and delivers superior performance across a wide range of applications.
This position is based in Butte, Montana, located in the scenic Rocky Mountains along the Continental Divide. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of technical problem-solving, customer engagement, and travel (approximately 50%).
What You’ll Do
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their applications, demonstrate solutions, and guide them through the full sales lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to closing business
- Proactively generate new opportunities through outreach, referrals, and targeted territory strategies
- Deliver engaging, hands-on product demonstrations at customer sites
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with both technical and commercial insight
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering and operations to translate customer needs into solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline and customer data using CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships throughout the product lifecycle
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
What You Bring

Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales
- Strong understanding of industrial or materials processing technologies
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow accounts
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable performing equipment installations and live demonstrations
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable in overcoming sales challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel domestically
- U.S. Citizenship required
