Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager

A growing specialty chemical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to support multiple production facilities in Northeast Ohio.
This role is critical in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing workers’ compensation and environmental programs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Workers’ Compensation & Safety Leadership
- Promote a culture of safety across multiple facilities
- Manage workers’ compensation programs, claims, and associated costs
- Investigate incidents and represent the company in hearings as needed
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
Environmental, Health & Safety
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs and required OSHA/EPA reporting
- Lead safety training programs and compliance initiatives
- Conduct audits and recommend corrective actions
- Partner with leadership on safety improvements and regulatory guidance
- Oversee hazardous waste disposal programs
- Chair safety committee meetings across facilities
- Manage safety program costs and reporting metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in EH&S, Industrial Management, Business, or related field preferred
- 4 years of safety management experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers’ compensation programs
- Experience with environmental compliance in a manufacturing setting
- Background supporting multi-site operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
