Lead DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite)
A large-scale industrial organization is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to help modernize and secure enterprise software delivery practices across a complex engineering environment. This is a high-impact role with strong executive visibility, focused on consolidating source control and CI/CD workflows into GitHub while embedding Secure SDLC principles into every stage of development.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the consolidation of source control and CI/CD pipelines into GitHub
- Partner with development teams to migrate repositories and establish governance, branching strategies, and platform standards
- Champion Secure SDLC initiatives across the organization
- Integrate security tooling including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, and code scanning into CI/CD pipelines
- Design and build CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions
- Develop deployment and build automation using NodeJS and C#
- Administer DevOps infrastructure, container registries, and cloud services
- Create reusable templates and secure-by-default development patterns
- Coach engineering teams and help accelerate adoption of modern DevSecOps practices
- Support a long-term roadmap that may expand into AI/ML pipeline security initiatives

- Successfully consolidate repositories and CI/CD workflows into GitHub
- Establish a strong Secure SDLC foundation and standardized development practices
- Beyond Year 1
- Expand DevSecOps capabilities into emerging technologies, including AI/ML security
- Help shape enterprise-wide engineering and security strategy
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with repository migrations or CI/CD platform consolidations
- Strong experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- Solid scripting/programming skills in NodeJS and C# (Python is a plus)
- Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of containerization technologies and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive adoption of engineering best practices
Preferred Experience
- Experience migrating from Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or TFS into GitHub
- Familiarity with .NET and legacy application environments
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM
- Interest or experience in AI/ML pipeline security
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-400, GIAC GWEB/GCSA, or similar
