What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSQA Manager position at STORM SEARCH LLC?
We are seeking a Plant FSQA Manager to lead food safety and quality programs in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with USDA/FDA regulations, oversees HACCP and sanitation programs, and drives continuous improvement in product quality and safety.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Relocation assistance within the US is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOP, USDA, and FDA regulations
- Lead audits, USDA interactions, and food safety verification activities
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee sanitation programs, GMP audits, and microbiological testing
- Maintain and improve SQF and quality systems
- Monitor KPIs including food safety, quality, and operational performance
- Lead, train, and develop FSQA team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years in food manufacturing; 2 years in leadership
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, USDA/FSIS, and food safety systems
- Experience with microbiology, audits, and quality systems
Preferred: HACCP or SQF certification, SAP/QMS experience
