StoreySmith Pediatric Clinic’s Mission is to provide exceptional services for children. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, collecting payments, and general administrative functions.
HOURS:
- Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm (with 1 hour lunch break) and Friday 7am-11am
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The essential responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Answers telephones and directs calls to appropriate staff
- Greets visitors, determines purpose of visit, and directs them to appropriate staff
- Checks in patients upon arrival
- Checks out patients, collecting copays and deductible payments
- Assists with scheduling patient visits
- Receives and routes messages or documents to appropriate staff.
- Operates office equipment, such as voicemail messaging and electronic medical recrods system
- Performs other tasks as required to help with operations

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in an administrative or related field, preferred
- Two years’ experience in a therapy or medical clinic administrative role, preferred
- Experience in using various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical or clinic procedures, helpful

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
