Position Summary
Stored Energy Concepts, Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support core HR operations. This position will partner with employees and leaders to deliver a strong employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. This position will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits and leave administration, employee relations, performance management processes, HR policy administration, training delivery, employee records administration, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for employee questions; interpret policies, provide guidance, and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of employee training programs including skills-based training that supports employee growth and development.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, the employee handbook, and related documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding, including new-hire paperwork, start packages, candidate communication, and orientation.
- Coordinate offboarding, including exit interviews, unemployment responses, and final employee support.
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment; respond to benefit questions and help coordinate wellness initiatives.
- Administer leaves and accommodations and help ensure compliance with applicable requirements (e.g., FML/ADA).
- Maintain HR system data integrity; troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and implement process improvements.
- Maintain electronic personnel files and process hires, terminations, and employee changes accurately and on time.
- Support the performance review cycle by tracking timelines, collecting documentation, and driving completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of HR generalist experience.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and leave practices (e.g., FML/ADA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and partner effectively with employees and leaders.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with HR systems/data entry and maintaining confidential employee records.
- Experience developing and delivering training in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment.
- Experience supporting employee relations and performance management.
