Summary: This position supports the Business Development Managers and is an integral piece of the Storage Asset Management Sales team.

Essential functions of the role that can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Support the Business Development Managers through data entry by collecting and inputting data for the sales projection process, including property, market, and competitor-specific data
• Coordinate calls for projection review and other sales-related internal calls
• Organize SAM’s tradeshow activities, by setting up client activities and tracking attendance
• Ensure accuracy on sales materials and collaborate with Sales and Marketing on other collateral as necessary
• Keep the sales tracking system up to date with new leads and ensure all entries are accurate
• Collect details and create documents for the selection committee reviews
• Communicate and collaborate within the department and SAM on other duties as necessary
• Travel up to 25% may be required from time to time to tradeshows, stores, and corporate office
• In office scheduling requirements are determined by your supervisor and are subject to change at any time

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Previous experience in sales coordination or self-storage is desired
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent time management which includes strict adherence to deadlines
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires regular and predictable attendance. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed indoors with normal noise levels and minimal exposure to hazardous conditions. Employees in this position are required to reside in a state where SAM is registered to conduct business.
