What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Teacher position at Stoney Court Playcare?
Stoney Court Playcare is hiring Child Care Teachers. Full time and part time shifts available.
We are a licensed child care center looking for someone warm, dependable, and genuinely great with young children. This is a year round position with consistent weekday hours and a close, supportive team.
SCHEDULE
Full time and part time shifts available- Monday through Friday
- Morning shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Afternoon shift: 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
- One required staff meeting per month, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Supervise and engage a classroom of children throughout the day- Lead age appropriate activities that keep learning fun
- Help with diapering, toileting, meals, and snacks
- Keep the room clean, organized, and safe
- Communicate warmly and professionally with families
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Genuine enjoyment in working with children- 1 to 3 years of experience in a licensed center or preschool preferred
- Ability to engage children in creative and meaningful activities
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing demands of child care
- Commitment to safety standards
- Punctuality and reliability
REQUIREMENTS
Idaho Enhanced Background Check- CPR and First Aid Certification
