Lollipop Land in Rigby, ID is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Assistant Child Care Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and play area
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
- Follow all childcare licensing regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
- Assist with meals, nap time, and daily routines as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 16 Years old
- Genuine passion for early childhood development and education
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check as required by Idaho childcare licensing standards
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, dependable, and a true team player
- Must be able to work 4-5 days 3:00-6:30.
