Infant/Toddler Teacher (0–18 Months)

Sweet Spirits is seeking a nurturing, reliable Infant Teacher to care for children ages 0 – 18 months. This role focuses on responsive caregiving, safety, and connection, creating a calm and loving environment where infants feel secure and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and sleep routines
• Follow individualized schedules based on each child’s needs
• Maintain active supervision at all times
• Follow strict safe sleep practices (back to sleep, empty cribs, five-minute frequent documented checks)
• Support early development through talking, singing, reading, and sensory play
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate daily with families in a warm and professional manner
• Must be able to work on Fridays

Qualifications

• Experience with infants (0 – 18 months) preferred
• Knowledge of safe sleep and infant care best practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Dependable, calm, and attentive
• Ability to start soon
