Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Packaging Supervisor to oversee our 1st Shift packaging operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency while adhering to FDA regulations, FSQA and CGMP guidelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse environment. NOW OFFERING WEEKLY PAY!!!
Duties
- Supervise daily packaging operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
- Train and mentor packaging staff on best practices for assembling, fabricating, and packaging products.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery, including logic controllers and hand tools.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste in the packaging process.
- Ensure that all packaging materials meet regulatory requirements and are properly stored in accordance with CGMP standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of packaged goods while maintaining inventory levels.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating various machinery and tools used in packaging.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, FSQA and CGMP practices relevant to the packaging industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment with an understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively and implement solutions promptly.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving production goals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining quality standards throughout the packaging process.
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
Must be able to be on feet for 10-12 hours a day
Shifts are Sunday through Thursday 5:00AM to 4: 00PM
