What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Production Supervisor PM Saturday through Wednesday position at Stone House Bread?
Stone House Bread is looking for an energetic individual to join our dedicated team of bakers.
Rate of Pay: Pay range is $23.00-27.00 based on experience. We offer weekly pay.
Schedule: Full-time 5 days per week. Weekends and holidays are generally required.
Duties:
- Work with the Production Manager to manage the daily bakery operations for quality and efficiency
- Assist in training new employees and existing staff
- Assist in managing labor schedules for the bakery
- Participate with the evaluation of staff employees
Qualifications and skills:
- Must be at least 18 yr old
- Have strong leadership and team management skills
- Basic math skills required
- Baking experience preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must demonstrate regular attendance by coming to work on schedule working days and being on time
- Must display professionalism with co workers
- Must have reliable transportation
Physical requirement include but are not limited to:
- Expected to stand for 8-10 hrs
- The position requires participating in procedures that require repetitive motion involving hands, wrists, arms, and back
- Expected to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with help from other team members
- The position involves working with heavy equipment including mixers and ovens.
