What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at Stone Group of Companies?
We are seeking a CDL Driver to deliver a variety of metal framing products manufactured at Steel Construction Systems in Orlando, FL. As a CDL Driver you will be responsible for the safe handling and delivery of these materials to Steel-Con customers. This position will be based out of our Home office in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities of a CDL Driver Include:
- Safe and legal operation of commercial delivery vehicle
- Safe delivery and off-loading of commercial construction materials
- Safe operation of a forklift, certification is required
- Participating in the accurate and orderly placement of delivered materials
- Preparing and staging materials for deliveries
- Continuously abiding by traffic laws and regulatory agency guidelines
- Inventory control
- Driver will be required to work in the production area of the facility when not making deliveries
- Driver will be a representative of Steel Construction Systems, and will need to conduct his or herself with the outmost professionalism
Qualifications for a CDL Driver Include:
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Clean driving record
- Proven warehouse and forklift experience
- Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
