We are seeking 1 qualified candidate available to work on the following days and times:
· 1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. This role ensures that supply chain operations run smoothly, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Logistics Manager works closely with suppliers, vendors, warehouse staff, and internal departments to optimize processes and maintain high service levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan, implement, and oversee logistics strategies to support business operations
· Manage transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities
· Coordinate shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials and products
· Maintaining weekly shipping goals from production and management
· Monitor logistics performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
· Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, suppliers, and service providers
· Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics operations
· Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align supply chain needs
· Resolve logistics issues, delays, or disruptions proactively
· Manage and develop logistics staff, including training and performance evaluations
· Implement cost-saving initiatives and improve operational efficiency
· Provide reporting to senior management
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 3–7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
· Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics best practices
· Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, or logistics platforms
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Strong leadership and team management abilities
· Effective communication and negotiation skills
· Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
· Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015)
· Certification such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Lean/Six Sigma
· Experience managing budgets and cost controls
