We are seeking 1 qualified candidate available to work on the following days and times:
· 1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hardware Technician to support assembly, maintenance, and fabrication of hardware components. This role also requires the ability to operate manual machining equipment, including mills, drills, and tapping machines, to modify and produce parts as needed. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical hardware components and assemblies
· Operate manual mill, drill press, and tapping equipment to fabricate or modify parts
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
· Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
· Perform drilling, tapping, deburring, and light machining operations
· Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues as needed
· Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
· Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
· Follow all safety procedures and company policies
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· 1–3 years of experience in hardware assembly, mechanical work, or machining
· Experience operating manual mill, drill press, and tapping tools
· Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
· Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
· Knowledge of basic machining practices and tolerances
· Familiarity with ISO 9001 or quality-controlled environments
