Occasional early mornings and evening hours to support physician and staff meetings. (Infrequent weekend hours are also possible.)
JOB SUMMARY:
Enhances the President/CFO’s effectiveness by providing information-management support. Provides office services by implementing and monitoring administrative systems, procedures and policies that ensure the overall mission of Stillwater Medical Center is achieved. Conserves the President’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letter and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications. Responsible for coordinating the activities of the administrative office, maintaining continuance and of activities in the absence of the President/CFO, and serving as liaison between this office and the staff, physicians, Board of Trustees, and the public.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of five years’ experience in a position of Administrative Assistant to executive staff.

Able to work with multiple tasks and constant interruptions.
-
Proficient computer skills for work processing and spreadsheets.

Strong leadership skills.

Ability to positively interact with various publics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.

Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.

Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, patients, and families.

Able to extensively utilize the telephone for communication.

Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule.

Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some light lifting and bending.
