What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day/Evening/Overnight SUD Nurse position at Still Detox?
We are hiring experienced RNs and LPNs for a 44-bed Substance Use Disorder Medical Detox facility in New Jersey. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident, compassionate, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to detox patients in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor withdrawal symptoms, vital signs, and patient condition
- Administer medications and document care in EMR
- Respond effectively to medical and psychiatric emergencies
- Collaborate with clinical and behavioral health staff
Requirements:
- Active New Jersey RN or LPN license in good standing
- Detox, substance abuse, or mental health experience required
- Ability to work under pressure with up to 44 patients
- KIPU EMR experience preferred (training provided)
- Must meet all NJ Department of Health and Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS) requirements
