What You’ll Do…
As the Mid-Level Administrative Program Specialist, you’ll provide essential programmatic and operational support to one of STI Federal’s federal client organizations, helping drive the planning, coordination, and execution of key research and development initiatives. You’ll assist in coordinating and executing research and development initiatives by managing project timelines, evaluating program metrics, and supporting the development of plans and strategies. In this role, you’ll collaborate with program directors, interagency partners, and key stakeholders to drive efficiency and ensure alignment with mission objectives. Your work will directly advance STI Federal’s mission to deliver exceptional support to federal partners serving critical national initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
- Advance program planning – Assist in the development and implementation of program strategies, plans, and budgets aligned with client goals.
- Facilitate collaboration – Coordinate activities among government program directors, interagency partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and integration.
- Support performance evaluation – Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Enhance documentation accuracy – Prepare and organize technical documents, presentations, and briefings that support decision-making and program execution.
- Promote process improvement – Identify bottlenecks and recommend operational enhancements to improve project efficiency and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, scientific, or life-sciences field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Advanced Research and Development (ARD) and Medical Countermeasures (MCM) programs.
- Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred.
Compensation & Work Environment
- Estimated Salary Range: $77,000 - $100,000, dependent on experience.
- Environment: Work will be performed at a secure facility in Washington, D.C., with potential for a hybrid schedule for candidates residing within 50 miles of the site.
Note: This position is being advertised in anticipation of contract award. Employment is contingent upon STI Federal’s successful contract award and subsequent task order funding.
