As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing HVAC service calls, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a broader technical skill set and the ability to service more advanced systems while working independently and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Comply with all company and safety policies, rules, and procedures at all times.

- Perform HVAC service calls and preventative maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment and system types.
- Perform service and maintenance on small VRF, chiller, and boiler systems.
- Utilize appropriate tools, instruments, and diagnostic equipment to assess system performance.
- Interpret service documentation, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to complete assigned work.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, recommended repairs, and system operation.
- Accurately document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and materials used.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while providing technical support or guidance when appropriate.
- Complete assigned work within acceptable timeframes while minimizing rework and callbacks.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC License required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of HVAC Technician experience.
- Experienced performing service and maintenance in commercial and industrial environments.
- Working knowledge of VRF systems, chillers, and boiler systems at a small-system level.
Physical Requirements:
- Work may involve standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, or climbing for extended periods.
- Work may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling tools, materials, or equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Work may require working indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, moisture, and noise.
- Work may involve working in confined spaces, elevated locations, or mechanical rooms under supervised conditions.
- Work may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, hard hats, safety footwear, and hearing protection.
