Stevens Realty LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Appliance Technician to perform appliance installations, repairs, and maintenance at residential rental properties. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, reliable transportation, and the tools and equipment needed to complete assigned jobs independently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience repairing and installing residential appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, washers, dryers, and dishwashers.
- Ability to diagnose appliance issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience operating a box truck for appliance delivery is a plus.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- HVAC knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Additional experience in equipment repair and maintenance is beneficial.
General Requirements
- Must own and provide a reliable vehicle for traveling between properties.
- Must own and provide the necessary tools and equipment to perform appliance repairs and installations.
- Must maintain required workers' compensation insurance or qualify for an applicable exemption. Assistance with obtaining coverage may be available if needed.
- Must be reliable, hardworking, organized, and able to work independently.
- Must communicate professionally and provide timely updates on job progress.
- Must follow applicable safety standards and licensing requirements.
Compensation & Work Process
- This is an independent contractor opportunity.
- Payment is based on approved estimates and completed work orders, not hourly wages.
- Estimates must be submitted and approved before work begins.
- Completed jobs must include the required invoice, photos, and documentation.
