Home and Community Engagement Specialist

The Stevens Center is seeking compassionate, hard-working individuals to support someone with a disability in Buies Creek, NC. Selected individuals may work up to 28 hours per week part-time.
Responsibilities may include providing assistance with personal care, teaching skills to increase independence, advocacy, and participating in community events to promote inclusion. Related experience in direct care or special education is not required. Creativity, progressive thinking, strong advocacy skills, knowledge of community resources, and high-quality character are much more valuable.
Qualified applicants must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check.
