What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Worker/ Direct Support IDD- Dunn position at Stevens Center?
Seeking applicants with a heart of gold, a desire to do meaningful work, and a strong work ethic!
Support Worker (at other agencies referred to as CAP workers, Hab Techs, or DSPs) needed to provide in-home and community-based training and care for an individual with intellectual and/or developmental disability in Dunn. This is a part-time position with daytime/evening hours.
Hours and days worked will be based on the needs of the individual that receives paid supports(Monday/Wednesday 8a-8p and Tuesday 8a-2p). Starting wage is established by a set scale based on years of experience in I/DD field.
Must have ability to maintain a positive and supportive rapport with individual receiving services and their family, co-workers, and supervisor. Reliability is a MUST!
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers' License
Verifiable automobile insurance
Clean criminal record
Pass Drug Screening
Have a Smart phone and are willing to download App to clock in/out and to complete daily documentation of services.
Experience is great, but the RIGHT ATTITUDE and willingness to learn are the key to success.
All required training will be provided by agency. Current CPR/FA is a plus.
