Senior Associate – Transaction Advisory Services
About the Firm
A boutique transaction advisory firm focused on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and Office of the CFO support for private equity firms, independent sponsors, and strategic acquirers. The firm emphasizes senior-level involvement, practical judgment, and clear, decision-oriented analysis over high-volume, standardized work.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for candidates currently in Big 4 or large-firm TAS practices who want greater ownership, closer client exposure, and deeper involvement across the full transaction lifecycle. Senior Associates operate as core deal team members, working directly with Managers and Directors on live engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, including Quality of Earnings, working capital, and net debt analyses
- Analyze historical financials and business drivers to identify deal risks and value considerations
- Participate actively in management meetings, diligence calls, and client discussions
- Prepare and review analyses and draft client-ready deliverables
- Identify normalization items and transaction considerations with direct input into deal conclusions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in Big 4 or national-firm Transaction Advisory / FDD
- Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis and Excel
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- Ability to operate with autonomy in a lean, fast-paced deal environment
